I recently moved to Lapland. This is an area in Northern Finland, about 1000 kilometres away from where I used to live. Many people have asked me in disbelief “why on Earth did you do that?! “And I will put some photos at the bottom of this post to show you some of the reasons, but the main reason really was that this energy and space called for me, and I knew I had to do it (after avoiding it for 3 years). I had to cooperate with the energies that were present, not ignore or fight against them. Instead of controlling and trying to figure things out, I had to lean into the power of “YES”.

Let me just ask you, how often do you try to plan everything in your life, ahead of the time, all the way to the finish line? You get an idea, or somebody asks you for something, and then you go into your head and consider all the pros and cons and look at your calendar and calculate your money and look at the weather forecast and check this and check that and… basically try to predict the entire outcome? In other words, control it. That is a sure recipe to avoid all the possibilities that the Universe would like to gift to you.

And this is not your job. 

Are you trying to do someone else’s job?

Let me repeat this: controlling is not your job. When the Universe presents you possibilities, be it whispers you hear in your dreams, or a Facebook post about something, or a friend inviting you to join them for a coffee, or an idea that persistently pings you, your job is to

1. Ask questions about it to see if it’s light or heavy for you
2. Say YES or NO.

So simple!

This area of Finland has been calling me for years. I tried to figure out how to do it, how to move here, how would my business work if I lived here, how would my relationships work, how how how how…. and I was so stuck in this circle of trying to figure things out. Nothing seemed to move, and it seemed like my life became void of all the possibilities that used to be there. Like there was nowhere to go, like I had hit a dead end.

Eventually I remembered that this “figuring things out” is not my job. I’m really good at it, I can look at anything from a thousand and then some angles, without ever accomplishing anything. But just because I’m good at it, does not mean that it is my job to do it, or that it would be smart in any way. My job is to perceive the possibility, and then choose. Either YES or NO. I said yes.

Pretty much nothing went according to my plan or how I thought this would show up, yet here I am and the past few months have been the most change-filled time of my life so far. And boy am I grateful every day, even when it is uncomfortable, weird, when I have to learn new things… It is a new beginning for me in many ways.

So, what has been calling for you?
What would it be like if you just said YES and took the first step? And stopped trying to control all of your possibilities out of existence 😉 I know, it’s weird and uncomfortable, especially if you are used to being the heady one and always thinking everything through. But everything can be learned – or unlearned! 

Nothing in my life so far has taught me so much about letting go of control and learning to cooperate with all energies as Talk to the Entities®. I became a  TTTE facilitator because a bunch of entities asked me to do that. From my perspective it seemed impossible, I could not calculate how to do that, but they were so insistent that eventually I said yes and leaned into that energy. And received help and contribution in a way I never had before. 

I had no clue that I could receive help from anyone, let alone the spirit world, in this way. This was something I also had to learn. I made a video of this experience, so if you would like to learn more about cooperating with all energies and the power of YES, watch the video here.

The universe is full of surprises and possibilities that your calculating mind can not comprehend. You on the other hand can be aware of the energy, and then bravely jump in and navigate the wave as it shows up. In fact that is the only way to navigate anything; in the present moment, not before it.
