You are not broken and there’s nothing wrong with you.
So many people talk about healing these days. What does it actually mean? What could it mean?
For a long time I didn’t use that word because it had become so shallow, superior and full of judgement. It seemed to call attention to all the things we judge about ourself. If you decide that there is something that requires healing in you, you have already decided that there is something wrong with you.
What if true healing is something totally different? What if it’s more like letting go of everything that isn’t true or real, everything that isn’t you, and everything that doesn’t have to be. Kind of like detoxing. Allowing things that don’t work just go.
That way you might find out who and what you actually are, and that it’s so incredibly beautiful, magical and miraculous that you forget that you ever thought you required fixing.
Whose thought was that anyways?
